Eugene Byrne, MD was born and raised in Hackensack, NJ.   Dr. Byrne attended Kean University as an undergraduate and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson Medical School; receiving his MD in 1996, where he completed his residency as well.   Dr. Byrne continued his training in a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Cincinnati Bone and Joint Institute in Cincinnati, OH where he also served as the Assistant Team Physician for the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals Football Team.   Dr. Byrne is  Board Certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.  He is also a consultant to the US Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid and Team Physician for the US Bobsled Team.
